Celebrating women-led businesses this International Women’s Day

international women's dayTo mark International Women’s Day 2024, The Shard hosted a pop-up market that featured a range of businesses led by women.
Employees of The Shard’s occupiers were invited to browse and purchase goods ranging from stationery and haircare to homeware and food products. The Shard has a big focus on community - both internal and external - and this event was held to support London businesses that are owned and operated by entrepreneurial women.
The businesses offering their products on the day were:
- 20A Aromatherapy – bespoke aromatherapy scents to elevate your state of mind
- Mocaro - an avant-garde statement accessories brand for men
- The Stationer - a curated selection of high quality stationery from small businesses
- Eat by Amy - plant-based bakery
- Black Crowned Gin - the first Black British Woman founded gin brand
- New Shell - natural haircare
Osime Home - African-inspired homeware and gifts - Citizens of Soil - award-winning extra virgin olive oil
- Anaya Basque - Traditional baked cheesecake from the basque region
